Honey comb knitting pattern with two colours

Tried my hand on making a knitting pattern. I was gathering ideas for my knitted pillow cases and well this honey comb made with two colours is just amazing. Yes it needs some patience and the work goes slow, but I think its worth it.

Abbreviations: 
k = knit
p = purl
c4f = (cable 4 front)- slip 2 stitches to a cable needle and hold at the front of the work,     knit 2 with colour 2, then knit the 2 stitches from the cable needle with colour 1.
c4b = (cable 4 back)- slip 2 stitches to a cable needle and hold at the back of the work,      knit 2 with colour 1, then knit the 2 stitches from the cable needle with colour 2.
c1 = colour 1
c2 = colour 2

Cast on multiples of 8 + 4 with c1.
Row 1: *p4 with c1, p4 with c2; rep from *to last 4 sts, p4 with c1
Row 2: (right side of the work) – k2 with c1; * c4f, c4b; rep from * to last 2 sts, k2 with c1
Row 3: p c1 with c1 and c2 with c2
Row 4: k c1 with c1 and c2 with c2
Row 5: p c1 with c1 and c2 with c2
Row 6: k2 with c1; * c4b, c4f; rep from * to last 2 sts, k2 with c1
Row 7: p c1 with c1 and c2 with c2
Row 8: k c1 with c1 and c2 with c2
Row 9: p c1 with c1 and c2 with c2


Above rows 2-9 make up the pattern, end with a row 3 or row 7.
